Photos of road trains delivering cattle to the wharf at Broome, West Australia today.

Cattle were being loaded onto a ship for live export. There were three road trains on the wharf waiting and often a fourth empty coming off the wharf.

The cattle looked to be young, perhaps yearlings and probably going to Indonesia/Vietnam/China? Judging by their age they would probably go into a feedlot to grow out more before slaughter.

Probably 60 - 70 animals per deck x 6 decks per road train = 400 per road train?? Just an estimate.

Lots of trucks involved in this operation.
