Having had a bit of a dig, it seems the axles are only rated at about 5 tonnes.
Army stuff is often overbuilt and under specced. Inch and a half think tyres coupled with a solid seat and no A/C makes for a long dayIt’s American , and American army! They severely underrate stuff in those applications I think, those 5 Ton axles will be built the proverbial brick sh!thouse!
It would be ridiculous to assume that one of those is 15 Ton gross, surely?
