It’s amasing how many post these photos on tractor groups on Faceache, look I saved this Major today- loaded against headbord behind a Astra van!! Was a 165 with loader, grab and counterweight on last week. Grab and loader were above the transit pickup loadbed with front wheels wedged against headboard!! If you’re going to drag something silky home, at least make it look ok!!!

I see it all the time no thought for nose weight weight transference or load safety no wonder dvsa. are so busy they just make it easy for them and thought the trailer licence course and test was supposed to sort all this out silly me

When i did my trailer test back in 2003 they didnt ask you to explain how to load the trailer. I asked the examiner once i had passed and he had no idea why i had asked... I explained if the trailer is loaded wrong it will tow like a sod. He wasnt interested!. That is surely the biggest reason for crashes. Is it in the test now??

They ask you the same as they do for CPC module 4 of how you should load a trailer. You should answer evenly observing axle and drawbar weight!!
