@JP1 was good enough to post this on the "today at work" thread. We don't have wagons with 3 rear axles, this mixer is the first I have seen outside the states? Looks like a steering rear axle, but that's a guess .......

Yes, rear axle steers, and probably lifts as well. Had a similar Volvo in the yard with a bulk blower body back in the autumn and I was very impressed. Turning circle of a 6 wheeler but payload of an 8. Starting to see a few around locally on the feed job, plus the odd tipper, but the above is the first time I've seen the configuration used as a mixer.

The best of lads, but its fair to say their careful with money ........... :whistle:
They started with a Dodge Highline and a Roman Diesel which was a Man Diesel built under license for the soviet block, not sure where they got that from.
