Wouldn't fancy drying that swath out if it got rained on!How much are people getting yield wise. The picture is the swath out the back of a lexion rotary! It’s about 3ft tall.
Does that mean you sold it at 45 baled?Probably learned i sold it too cheap now.neighbor paying £12 an acre apparently for snetterton power station.our barley was baled in claas quadrants and got 10 an acre.i think 2ft x2ft x8ft.no idea what they weigh though

What variety is it @warksfarmer ? Am I right in thinking you use very high seed rates? How much are people getting yield wise. The picture is the swath out the back of a lexion rotary! It’s about 3ft tall.

Thats alot i turned some down at £100 per acre about a 3rd of what you have their.
Your going to need alot to make more than 125 acre !!Turned down £125/acre and will bale it ourselves so we’ll see what the baler says! It’s probably just all air!

How many tons and acre do you think its going to give ?I doubt it.
Good to see you guys on the heavy land having a better time of it for a change
That is a decent row!
Crop looks thick, can't beat seeds in the ground

Do you or have you ever grown it on heavier land? That’s actually very light loam soil that has potatoes and carrots on it. We are surprised also as whilst it has looked a decent crop all year it died off a month early.
