3 days ago i messaged the livestock auctoneers association regarding under 16s attending market to sell there own stock. As I pointed out the youngsters this time of year have theaves to sell what they have bred or purchased as lambs to grow on. Some may have rams to sell what they have bred. The youngsters can go everywhere else except livestock markets and are the least susceptible to covid. If they do not allow these youngsters who are the future of our industry to attend and sell there stock they may be lost to the markets forever. Who knows ten years time we may have lost the sell live and thrive to sell on the net for a better bet. If you feel like contacting the LAA they might respond to someone.

Spot on. I'd call Chris Dodds and ask when you should expect a reply : 07885 731502. Also forward a copy to all the markets you consign to / buy from and ask them to lobby too
