I've never updated mine never been an issue they get updated when i sell

They will replace blue ones with red free of charge.

Looked on gov website and said £25 for replacement log book,,,,,,but maybe thats for red to red then

As I recall they sent red ones out without asking.

Someone stole a whole load of the blue ones and so they have been replacing them with red.
They have sent some of mine over the years but not others, I have sold vehicles on red and also blue log books since.
