London Bridge attacks

Diverging a bit from the topic and watching the EU Parliament on tv this morning, the terms catatonic and infantile spring to mind. Subject is foreign (read Russian) interference in European elections.
I reckon Putin should be quite happy with the present pantomine, no need to interfere.

If jihadi types were sent to Saudi etc. we would be having a very great say in how they are 'dealt with'. (y)
So we can have influence on Saudi punishments, but we can't get Boris's mate Donald to give up the wife of a diplomat who is likely to have killed a British citizen whilst in this country.

I wonder if they'd give up Anne Sacoolas in return for a Prince

Again you've entirely missed the point, via natural inability or determined obtuseness I just don't know…

I wrote that by sending them to somewhere such as SA we would have a great say in how they are dealt with - look, I've put it above to prove it. (y)

We have, I hope, very little influence on Saudi punishments; our 'say' would be in our submitting them to the punishments available there.

I hope we can't '...get Donald to give up...' anyone. The rule of law applies in the US as in the UK, and here today gone tomorrow politicians shouldn't be the ones that decide to change the law for their own convenience and political chums.

I've not missed any point, however poorly made it may have been.
