London "Climate" Protests

I've found the protests in London very strange.

Whilst ordinary people can't Jay walk various groups in society act "Above the Law".

Case in point 100s of people disrespecting tax payers going about their lawful business. Not only costing people time and money, but causing more pollution.

I heard on Radio 4, Mark Carney talking about a combined "Financial" imperitive to change the way finance operates. Which IMHO is heading towards Carbon Trading .. another UK Tax imperitive.

And then today I saw this "Sponsored" article in the Telegraph:

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/how-to-be-green/fix-relationship-with-earth-by-2030/

So I decided to have a look who exactly GEF is.

Low and behold .. for the UK it's DFid & DEFRA. (Department for International Development)

I've got a very uneasy feeling about this .. combined with Gove appearing on the "One Show".

Don’t these revolting folks realise the amount of carbon dioxide they breathe out with every breath. Not forgetting the methane emanating from their rear ends, as veggies/vegans.

We should look behind who or whom is financing these protesters, probably us as I expect most are on the dole.
Oh FFS! I have lost track of the number of emails and letters I receive on an almost daily basis offering to fund me for taking part in some sort of protest. usually we negotiate for a couple of days but finally agree on a figure. I let them know at work I shall be away for a day, maybe two and arrange for someone to cover my calls. Once the money is in my account I make arrangements to go to the place where the protest will be and my name is checked off a list. And then we march! (Multiply this by a thousand or ten.)
Just think for a moment and also, please, just consider that at least some (maybe less than ten if you are that uncharitable) actually care about what they are doing.

IMO they are just another bunch of folk who wish to dictate to me how I should run my life, but with no clear meaningful policies or reasoning as to why I should change. Again, it is just another populist protest like Brexiteers or Yellow vests, any grievance you may have, join us. Ultimately they all do have some valid and demonstrable concerns, which they should learn to concentrate on.

Thank you. Your comment is the perfect definition of the meaning of 'whataboutery'

I don’t think so!
Energy used getting there? Yes
Extra excrement from pee to litter to clear and dispose? Yes
Environmentally friendly overcrowding? An oxymoron.

East Sussex.
Powers that be will let this crap fester for the next month or so to take the headlines away from the Euro elections and Brexit Party.
Probably waiting for Nige and other Brexiteers to get controversial over it and try to discredit them.
It's all down to the Pesky Ruskies.

Its all futile anyway, the planet is undergoing increasing Volcanic activity every year which is clearly building to something big. And as one scientist remarked a while back, one huge Volcanic eruption blasts more carbon into the atmosphere than the entire history of the polluting automobile!

Has anyone ever considered that its Oxygen that's the problem and not Carbon? Well Oxygen rusts everything including us whereas Carbon promotes astounding plant life growth in the densest parts of the rainforest under the populace tree canopies where theres less Oxygen. So replace Oxygen with more Carbon and the planet would soon look fantastic and all those climate change people could rest happy in their graves along with everyone else:p...…….Just a thought
