London transport crammed with commuters as lockdown eases.

IF the virus is an infectious as claimed and with it being stated that several tube drivers have died from cv then it follows that the tube was rife with infected people before lockdown and if these now travelling were also doing so before lockdown they have almost certainly come into contact with a good few times so could well have already had it.

We live near a small town (similar size to market Harborough) teachers were doing some prep at school towards reopening. Now they are a spike of 18.
that’s infectious enough for my taste.
That’s just among the group preparing, not after opening - well it didn’t open, obviously.

I singled Bristol for the J’s benefit. I’m not keen to go anywhere that has more than a dozen living there really

the only time I’ve been into Bristol was 1979!!! Which is 41 years ago
Ahh , that was ok , it was after the m5 was built, took some traffic off the a38 straight away....

Were lucky that we dont have too,if we dont want to .. trouble is there could be an even bigger townie permanent type exodus to the country in the next few years...

If they are told by their employer that they must attend their workplace and they can’t get hold of a mask then what else can they do but get on the tube or other public transport especially if no other feasible means of transport are available.
Doesn't look like many of them could be bothered to make a face mask from their socks.:(

My Daughter was in London at University until late March travelling from east London to central London daily by tube and she doesn't thinks she's had it and as she's staying with her 80 year old grandfather she hasn't infected him either.

ssume you mean 18 have it ? It is really hard to know what to make of how infectious it is. One person in Austria is getting blamed for loads of cases yet a fair few spouses dont seem to catch it while sharing a bed with their other half, there was a slaughter house in Tipperary that tested the whole place and found 30% had it that day. I think the government needs to put more effort into anti body tests to get a better idea

It's odd, however many have no symptoms and she may have passed the infectious stage before she went to stay ?

41 years ago certain areas in Bristol were no go areas ?

Still are from what I’ve seen if we had a shopfit on the worst trouble was Bristol. Case of mistaken identity but my old man and the other fitters we’re leaving a late shift car screeched up guy jumped out and chased the lot of them down the road with a machete! First of many tales

No, I was asking?
But interested where folk would draw the line then?
Thinking for myself, we are mid way between Limoges and Poitiers and I wouldn’t go to either (and you can’t call them big), ai defiantly not Leicester.
Yep, up to 12 inhabitants is ok (y)
At this precise moment no one in their right mind would go into a city unless it’s absolutely necessary especially if you live in the more rural area of a country
