At this precise moment no one in their right mind would go into a city unless it’s absolutely necessary especially if you live in the more rural area of a country

So, @Lowland1 i am in agreement with turbo on this. You think everyone should take their own chance. You would be happy to go to any city in the world right now?

actually would you be happy for your daughter to return to London - tommorow?
My daughter studies in Lancaster, she is 20 so makes her own choices, but at this moment I would certainly prefer she doesn’t go to Lancaster, never mind somewhere large

Depends if you are hoping to stay safe and wait for a vaccine i guess?

Some of us dont want a vaccine and will at some point likely get infected.

For many of us we are simply following the rules for the sake of others.

I think I would . 25 years in Africa gives you a different mindset. I have been robbed at gunpoint and hit over the head with a pistol. Found my next door neighbour shot dead . Between the two gates on the farm a distance of no more than 2kilometres there have been 30 deaths in fatal road accidents in the last two years. Death for us is a constant. As for my daughter I and she would have no worries about going back to London at present there's no need as university is closed. But statistics say at 19 she is pretty safe. Again her and her brother went away to school at the age of 5 they have travelled back and forward to the UK from Kenya on their own from the age of 10.
We just live a different life.

My main aim is to keep my family and myself safe and do things within the rules. I am wearing a mask and gloves when I go to the shop and put alcohol hand gel on as soon as I leave and wash my hands properly when I get home other than that what else can you do if you have a business to run as well

You don't go out of your way to find trouble. If we go to Town we wear masks. We disinfect our hands we keep our distance from people but I am not going to live in fear. You have to be sensible but life has to go on as best as it can.
