Long haired Border collie wanted

I presume by now you have found your forever friend
I am sadly having to rehome my gorgeous boy. He was a rescue who was found abandoned. He hates being indoors and probably lived outside as he loves his kennel outside. He is definitely a one person dog. I have to be honest he has bitten me a few times, it is fear aggression. Outside he is brilliant, he loves other dogs, loves his ball, is well trained but is not suited to being cooped indoors. My dream would be for him to live a farm life, with one owner who would be dedicated to.

Hi BevsyDee, thank you for your post. No not yet. I keep thinking I am ready to get another companion but to be honest with you I am not yet over the grieving process. I know , I'm a 55 Yr old guy but I miss him terribly. He was my life for 10 hrs.
Hi I rehoming my 1 year old border collie however I'm based in Merseyside.
This is a heartbreaking decision that has taken a long time and we have exhausted all means to help and provide her with what she deserves.
The cat simply won't take to her and keeps trying to attack her. She is a nervous wreck around her and she just isn't get the exercise walks runs she needs due to starting a new job .
She is absolutely beautiful and adores people , maybe too much . She does need training on leash as she pulls but 9nce off lead she will not run away if u throw her ball as she returns it to u everytime with out command

Let me.know if you would be considering rehoming as it's a matter of urgency at the moment. She just seems so sad at the moment ands it breaking my heart for her. She needs alot of love amd attention .
She gives soany cuddles as well .

Hi all, I am based in Edinburgh.. I am looking to adopt if possible a long haired Border collie ..I am not looking for a working dog ..just a companion...maybe a dog who did not make the grade or perhaps a dog that recently has come to the end of its working life..Sadly I recently lost my collie Miska to cancer and to be honest have found it hard to find a suitable dog from the rescue centres as most if not all need to go to a dog free home. The problem is that another member of the family has a dog( My collies pup actually)So would be looking for a sociable dog which can get on with other dogs...if you you have or know of a dog that needs rehoming please pm me..many thanks..steven

Hi, just saw your post. Did you manage to find a companion? We have a border collie in need of rehoming due to my health issues. If you're interested please get in touch.

We are looking to rehome our handsome 5 year old Border Collie. We inherited him from a private seller but unfortunately she didn't declare all of his behaviours and we found that with those he is beyond our personal situation. We want to have him rehomed. Unfortunately no centres will take him as they're overbooked and we think having to put a clearly viable dog down is inhumane but our circumstances are changing and we won't be able to keep him much longer. This is distressing to say the least.

If anybody sees this post and would like to know more, please DM us. We just want him to have a happy home!

@Mucker4890

Apologies if I’ve misunderstood from some of your vids, but you do a bit with collie dogs don’t you?
Yes that's correct, however, the sad reality is that they have said it has behavioural issues so it is highly unlikely that anyone would be keen on taking him on.
It seems that these days the world is full of liars who are prepared to say anything just to unload a dog on someone else and unfortunately the poster above has fallen foul of such a person.
Rescue centres are seen as dumping grounds currently.
