Looking for 12" Kv Hydrien full shares, (not 2 piece).

Hi All.
I am new to match ploughing, (at 74y.o.). plenty of commercial experience under my belt.
I recently purchased an old Hydrien with new boards, and the 2 piece shares. I ploughed about 4 acres for a neighbor with it, but noticed the soil on the front furrow was pushing sideways rather than sliding. The rear furrow was sliding reasonably ok, but I put that down to the firming of the soil by the Tractor landwheel. I have tried to get hold of some 1 piece shares to see if the soil slides without breaking up, am I thinking along the right lines with this. I did replace the discs with 18" ones from the 16" that were fitted. My wheel centres are set at 52", which lets the plough follow perfectly with plenty of front furrow adjustment.
I have also fitted board screw adjusters, but not able to stop the pushing.

If all else fails, could the frogs and boards be replaced with super hydrien ones?.

The piece beyond the left of your photo is more interesting. The wing of your share might be cutting too wide to leave enough 'hinge' for the furrow slice to fold over without becoming detached.

Thank you for that observation, I will have a measure and see just how wide it is cutting. It may be worth cutting some off to see if it makes any difference on an old share.
