I know this is a very long shot. My father, Hugh Barr from N. Ireland, won the World Ploughing Championship in 1954, 1955 and 1956. (For anybody who might know him, dad is still with us at almost 96 years old, diminishing in health but still amazing for his age.)
He used a trailing Ransomes plough, which was kept by the company to display after his third win (my dad was asked to retire from competition at that time). The plough disappeared when Ransomes went bust.
We have managed to find the Fordson major that he used for most of his ploughing, but have never been able to trace the plough.
I wonder if anybody has ever come across that plough or knows anything about i
