Hello all,

Me and my father in law are keen metal detectorists, we are looking for permission to detect on farm land in sussex, we are both members of the NCMD, and are responsible detectorists, we leave the land as its found, any major find will be reported and recorded correctly to the FLO and value will be split equally.

Thanks for reading this post.

Miles away from you, but we have had detectorists and they found a lot of interesting things, some have ended up in the local museum.

My main worry was that they would find something and put it in their pocket, even thought that is against the law. However, I found I knew the local Finds Officer, and she assured me that the club they belonged to was very responsible.

They even found bullets from Spitfires from the war.

Not at the moment, sorry.

There are currently two people who are regular and until they give up I won't let anyone else come. Although I should think they must have found all there is to find by now.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. Still, if you change your mind and let me have a go at detecting, please drop a line to let me know. Thanks
