Looking for metal detecting permissions in Oxfordshire in exchange for work

Hi, I am a 23 year old student based in East Oxford and as the title suggests I am looking for a friendly local farmer to host me on their land in exchange for my services in any way that they may be useful. I've just bought myself my first metal detector and was hoping to find some place to legally and ethically explore the hobby a bit more.

Though I have very little experience working on a farm it is something that has always interested me and I had planned on experiencing at some point in the future. I am a hard worker and am sure I could provide some valuable help if the chance arose.

Obviously, if any one is interested in this proposal, I would like to state straight away that I have liability coverage worth up to 5 million GBP with the National Metal Detecting Council (NMDC). I would also be removing any stray litter I found on your land or while digging in an effort to conserve the natural beauty of the area. It also goes without saying any items found on your land would be reported to you, with an option for you to keep them if you felt so inclined.

One final thing; If anyone not from Oxford happens to read this post I would appreciate any feedback / information you could provide that may help me in securing permissions in person! Thanks a lot!
