Looking for permission to access private woodland to use for bushcraft

Hi all I am new here, my name is Kev, 34 years old, live in Dagenham Essex with my wife, I have just registered on this forum, found the forum through a Google search and ended up reading a thread that had a similar question to the one I am about to ask

I am looking for private woodlands to practice bushcraft in, I have just started my path on this bushcraft journey and I would like to start off right and be respectful and try to seek permission instead of trespassing on private woodland, it would be for the sole use of myself and or my wife only if we were granted permission to use the land, no dogs, children, friends or anything like that, just a nice peaceful woodland where I or me and my wife can learn this new hobby we have found

Ideally it would be some place not too far away from home to begin with, mainly because we have no car, we only have public transport to rely on, ideally some place in Essex or London or just outside

In return for using the land we can clean up, do any sorts of jobs in maintaining or caring for the woodlands, we would also leave no trace we were there which is something I strongly believe everyone should do

Hopefully this is the right forum to be posting something like this, if it is do let me know, it would also be appreciated if you could let me know a better place to be asking all of this if this is the wrong forum, if you know

Thank you
