Looking for Sporting lease Shropshire/Worcestershire

Hello all,

I wonder if anybody would consider taking on a small-scale sporting tenant? I am looking to start an unobtrusive rough shoot to provide a small number of days walked-up shooting for a team of a few guns. This would involve releasing SMALL numbers of pheasant and partridge, with the emphasis of the shoot days being on walking the hedges and woods to achieve a small, sporting bag. Fine details and terms are obviously negotiable and will depend on what you have to offer.
This is a genuine advert, and to make it clear I am looking to lease the sporting rights including any ground rent for small release pen(s). The shoot would be keepered and maintained by myself on a part time basis, and I would be looking to establish a harmonious relationship with the landlord, not act as if I own the place.

Required acreage depends very much on the terrain and lie of the land. 50 acres of mixed terrain with good hedges and ditches, small fields and a bit of woodland would be preferable to 200 acres of flat arable fields. Rent per acre would be reflective of this.
An ideal wish list would be:
200-500 acreso, good quality hedgerows and some wooded areas. A stream, watercourse or good ditches at some point. Ponds/pools would be nice but not essential.
Smaller fields preferable to very large.
As I said, rent would be negotiable depending on the size and quality of the ground.

Please do get in touch if you'd like to discuss.
