Looking for training land (Near Loughborough)

Good Evening,

I have recently moved to Shepshed, near Loughborough, and am looking for land to train my 2 working Springer Spaniels for Gundog work and trialling.

Ideally, any land where there is different types of cover, woodlands, water, hedges etc that can be used for training would be perfect and I’d be happy to discuss a suitable arrangement if you think you may be able to help.

Also, until recently, I was part of a small syndicate shoot (mainly in the beating line) however this has temporarily folded whilst we look for new ground. Therefore if there are any opportunities to join the beaters on a local shoot, any heads up would be appreciated.

I do also shoot - driven birds, walked up, rough shooting, duck flights and pest control, so if I could assist you with anything, I’m keen!

I am respectful and aware of farming practices - I spent this summer working for a farming contractor harvesting several thousand acres and I have also previously worked on a dairy farm.

If you are able to assist, it’d be greatly appreciated. I currently work Friday, Saturday and Sunday so am available Monday to Thursday - I am more than willing to help out on your farm if ever a spare pair of hands was needed.

Thanks,

Scott.
