Looking for vermin shooting permission in the Worcestershire area

Hi all

I have recently moved back to Redditch after living in London for 6 years.

I am seeking permission to shoot from any land owners that may have pest problems. I understand having a stranger on your land with a gun may not sound appealing, if anyone is interested I would be happy to pay a visit to have a chat, look around and also help out any way I can.

I am a responsible 30 year old with BASC insurance. I started shooting when I was 11 with my dad and we went a couple of days a week for 10 years. We held rights on a large farm in Bidford and Salford Priors and would take 15-20 rabbits on average each visit and several woodies too.

I have not shot on land for 8-9 years but have still got my air rifle out frequently to keep my aim.

Any advice on obtaining new land would also be appreciated.

Do many come by it here? Or is a good old knock on a farmers door still welcomed?
