Looking for woodland to hold Air Soft events - County Durham

Hello all,

On behalf of someone else I'm looking out for woodland that my ex can use for airsoft shooting (like paintball, but with tiny pellets instead).

The site he currently uses is about 65 acres and is used for paintballing but this might come to an end. My understanding is that they pay around £20k a year in rent for this and they only use the sites on weekends.

Does anyone know of any woodland owner that might like to earn a bit of rent in exchange for this?

All the best,
Suzi

I presume the pellets are plastic and probably not very good for the environment

Apparently they do use plastic (non biodegradable) pellets where they are now, but that biodegradable ones are of a similar price so they could switch.

I agree with you; when he (my ex) told me about his hobby I was galled when I saw that they were shooting plastic pellets, but they could use ones which will break down naturally, I'm told.
