If you can't get it don't do the work , better off at home rather than putting up hrs on a good tractor for nothing .
@unlacedgecko just took the words out of my mouth really, if everyone who wasn't making money out of contracting were to park their gear in the morning there wouldn't be too many out working. The tractor makes very little anyway in reality it's the implement on the back that earns the money, you can hire a tractor for €12 insure it and put a driver on it, I always thought if it was money in your back pocket you were after you would be better off to hire 4 tractors and own all the implements and keep them well updated :unsure:
