Bur what constitutes a village or large? If a Council is short of their required Housing target, a couple of hundred little boxes on teh outside of a community, probably with no proper infrastructure is a Winner. Bang the Govt handout then the council tax revenues. Win Win

I think he actually said that PP should not be given for any developments that would encourage or increase commuting.

Like I said earlier, some of his comments are quite sensible and merit a bit more support rather than just being rejected out of hand.

Hah! Her "organising" anything that cares about anything? Couldn't bring herself to vote for children to be fed during the pandemic, but "cares" about climate, eh? Other Tories call her out for lacking compassion, doncher know. There will be business lobby groups pushing for greenwash schemes behind her "initiative".

At least one of the speakers was behind a big targeted door drop promoting trees, trees, munney, munney, trees, a few years back.
There are some internationally recognised rare environments in North Devon, and trees, trees, munney, munney, trees won't help save or encourage any of them. And neither will pseudo-eco tourist traps.
