[QUOTE="JP1, post: 8091185, member: 54"] [HEADING=2]The Sad Passing of The Lord Plumb of Coleshill DL - Our Founder and Patron[/HEADING] 15th April, 2022 The Henry Plumb Foundation was created by Henry to help to support and encourage new blood to come into farming and to pump prime projects to help farmers survive and thrive in their increasingly challenging environment. The Foundation is in a healthy position to continue on the succesful path it has been travelling for the past ten years. [HEADING=2]Leading the tributes was a comment from Minette Batters who said “Today British farming has lost one of its greatest ever advocates and the NFU has lost its greatest ever President” [/HEADING] The Trustees of the Henry Plumb Foundation reacted by drawing attention to the fact that while the Foundatiion had lost its Patron and Founder, the agricultural industry had lost one of its greatest ever champions and one of its most accomplished statesmen.
