LOST JCB 535-125 Key

Hi, We have a 2014 JCB 535 125 - unfortunately someone lost the key leaving it immboloised.

We have had a plant fitter from a JCB Dealer out to it who said he has done a factory reset and deleted the immoboliser.

However it still doesnt start, it cranks over and doesnt fine, fuel to the fuel filter, the machine ran perfectly before the key lost, but now the fitter says it has a fuel problem... which I find hard to believe.

When we crank it over, the red immboliser light still flashes on the dashboard. Any advice would be appreciated.

Do you have the red key to code another one with?

Had a problem with a 2014 machine that they key failed on, leaving it immobilised over a bank holiday weekend. Bought it 2nd hand and didn’t get the master key. In order to resurrect the machine, it required multiple codes from different JCB depts to remove the isolator. Could then just use std JCB keys.

However, I left the (unplugged) immobiliser on the machine, and several years later, whilst investigating a different issue and being told in no uncertain terms not to plug in the immobiliser, someone plugged it back in and it cost another multiple hundred pounds in time to remove it again. Immobiliser then saw out its time in a drawer in the office.

if you do remove it, I was told to keep hold of it as it may be required should some other technical issue occur.
