Lost Wrapper Remote

Bought a 2nd hand kvernland bale wrapper last year, one with a remote control.
Put the remote somewhere safe, but it's that safe I can't find it!

Does anyone know if a new remote would work with the control box or will it be a whole new system to be wired into the wrapper?

A tv remote will work. Don't ask me how you you go about doing it. But I believe it's a diy job.

I did similar about 15 years ago, the replacement worked fine. Obviously I found the original a month later.

I bought a wrapper off a lad few years ago. He was an electronics whizz. Reprogrammed a tv remote. Then couple years later I bought another wrapper from farm opposite him. Had same remote done by same lad.
So it can be done and can't be difficult

Had a chap that was in to electronics mend my KV one years ago, he said there isnt much to them and he could build one for a few quid if the numbers hadnt been removed from the components
