Been out to see couple of jobs today and when crossing the brook/stream saw loads of fry assuming they are brook trout as also saw some larger ones great to see them.
I’ve not seen any for many years and shows how healthy the brook is.

I’ve not seen any for many years and shows how healthy the brook is.
Herons have been nesting and successfully rearing young locally for the last few years.
That has to be a sign of a healthy river environment to sustain that.
