Low Distubance Drill

We currently use various methods for planting our crops inc plough, cultivate/power harrow and drill and also sumo early then drill. We have a Rapid and a Weaving tine drill which both work well but move quite a bit of soil allowing a flush at seeding. What reasonably priced low disturbance drill would work in these situations ? Would a Moore drill work ? Also has anyone got an avadex applicator on the drill ?
Thanks

my John Deere 1890 moves next to nothing for soil. Same row unit as a 750 I believe. Very dependable in most soils and reasonable in wetter ground too. If you buy an older unit there are various aftermarket parts being manufactured fir this type of machine and lots of upgrades to suit users needs. As for a granual applicator here valmar or salford now have mounted countless on drills. Very accurate and seen as the go to brand.

By the look of the leg casting and down pressure spring I’d say jd. Very similar to mine except I have only one disc per row
If you are talking about this pic, it only has one disc. The gauge wheel has a steel scraper ring bolted inside it, that I guess looks like another disc. It’s function is to keep the disc clean & to reduce wear on the gauge wheel tyre. A very common local modification / addition to gauge wheels here on both single & double disc planters

Who would be the manufacturer of that ring. I’m in very sticky soil i have scrapers on the discs but if trash gets in between it and the disc it becomes a disc brake. The rubber tires as a disc cleaner is not very successful on my soils.
