I use Sumo GLS points on our Simba SLD. You can get the weld on leg bottoms from the well known wearing parts supplier. I prefer the feet from a different source as they are more cost effective.

I assume that is a 4wd vineyard tractor, has it been tried behind a 2wd standard tractor (80hp)?

Mostly behind 4wd fruit tractors weighing about 3t. I’ve pulled the 1.5m 2 leg behind my 80hp deutz dx3.90 in 2wd mode with no problem, tractor weighs 4t according to handbook.

I’ve bought a Heva stealth low disturbance subsoiler this time, nice machine with hydraulic depth and disc adjustment. Available with hydraulic reset if on really stoney land, I opted for the shear pin model though. Sink it to the hilt and it’ll go down to 14” but I got told off for doing it, they suggest an operating depth to 12” max
Sorry it’s an old thread but really interested in one of these; are the legs a wearing item or do they do separate points? Are they worth 13000+?? I know stuff has gone up but I just can’t see it…but zero used ones about 😔

Hydraulic reset is expensive option. Shear bolt would save a fair bit if they offer it. Wearing steel isn’t cheap, biggest cost is the frame. Heavy steel cost money. Especially in 2021.

Id argue against the he-va stealth, less than 200ha on ours, leg brackets been replaced because shear bolt system is awful, rams for front discs have been replaced, one ram on rear packer been replaced, welding not great either

alomy have a ride to sleaford and see terry birch
if you want a proper built subsoiler
leg brackets can be moved to suit spacing we run 6 at 45 cm or 5 or flick shear tabs off and run 3
big 800 dd type packer very rare it plucks soil and scrapers last . you won’t break it ,
maybe not as fancy looking as the heva one but good build quality . served his time as simba 🙈
got 12 mm low disturbance legs
standard one
and shskerator legs to go in for stony sand

I’m afraid that is the shearbolt price…no options just a 6th leg
