Sorry it’s an old thread but really interested in one of these; are the legs a wearing item or do they do separate points? Are they worth 13000+?? I know stuff has gone up but I just can’t see it…but zero used ones about 😔
The leg is hardox and it is just itself, no replaceable shin like a shakerator. The points have a tungsten tip but I’m finding the stones in my land soon chip them off, I’ve been told they are developing something with Metcalfe’s so will see what comes of that. Are they worth £13k… suppose only you can answer that, I’ve not had any of the ram/bracket/welding issues mentioned by others

Id argue against the he-va stealth, less than 200ha on ours, leg brackets been replaced because shear bolt system is awful, rams for front discs have been replaced, one ram on rear packer been replaced, welding not great either

Interesting. I’ve only had my stealth since spring but have probably done only 100ha with it. Only broken one shear pin.

rams have all been fine.

Only issue I have is the wear on points. Original point did about 45 to 60 acres. They then could not supply those so sent “homemade “ ones which did much the same but weren’t so low disturbance.

Next set of points I’ll hard face the wings as they wear out way before the nose which is factory hard faced.

We've broken a fair few shear bolts, but we are very stoney land. Travelling at around 6k
