heard this week of a farmer who was caught adding water by a video camera on the back of the tanker - driver sampled and then invited indoors for breakfast....tap then went on apparently! A few hundred cows supplying a coop so basically robbing his fellow farmers! Can't believe it still goes on!

Just interested how many milk buyers have updated their contracts to take account of this? No mention on ours yet, producer meeting coming up so we need to raise it for discussion. (Especially as the 509 has been rigidly applied in the past).

Since the threshold was lowered our FPD has not dropped below 520,even with the hot weather this week and cows drinking like crazy I’ve had one come back this morning at 521.
Last summer 509/510 was the norm

Same! After the blip in the spring its sorted itself out and now were averaging above the roddas average!
Very annoying because if the threshold was lowered earlier I wouldn't have been penalised in the spring...
