Looking at getting a low loader trailer, with 20’ (including beaver tail)
Would need to travel at 50k, looking at herbst, and like the look of the AW, any other recommendations?

Bought a 25’ bailey just before Christmas as local dealer had one in stock at a sensible ish price. Pleased with it so far. It has proper commercial axles and brakes which many of the alternatives don’t.

Virtually the same as our new GX15LL, except this one has hydraulic ramps as well as the beaver tail. Fit and finish is excellent.

I wanted the ramps to store out the way as the rear area is where pump and mixing area of the demount bowser will be so didn’t want ramps there to work around

Should have it finished soon so all will become clear

Stewart stuff is fantastic quality - best trailers on the market these days imo, price tag to match unfortunately though

Agreed. What made me laugh, when the trailer was delivered it came with a regular eye, though it was spec’d with a bolt-on K80 spoon like yours. But the way they’re stacked on the lorry they needed to use an eye on the trailer to be able to pull and push it back on after they’d done an earlier drop (not everyone has a ball hitch at the ready!).

So I said to the driver no worries, give me 5, I’ll just grab the hook and swap the ball hitch over on tractor.

Fine he said, but once it’s off, you’ll need to unbolt the ring hitch and give it back to me! Right right ship that one, no freebies there!!:D

HM Trailers

Didn’t think they made anything that size?

They’ll make anything you want but be prepared to be lied to, to be told someone is more important and has taken your spot in production and certainly don’t expect your order to be valued or on time and once it does arrive set a few days aside to finish building what they started and certainly don’t expect an apology. Even had to ask for a manufacturers plate. You’ll have more luck with a box of meccano.

Not a good experience with HM I take it. They are reasonably local to me, and I have had direct quotes from them in the past, for various trailers but never ordered one from them.
