How low/high disturbance would a McConnell shakearator with a rear packer be

Think they do do a leading disc option but from my experience with my discaerator (same leg) it will bring up a lot of clods; more of a mixing tine.

I thought they might not be to high disturbance as some of the grass land subsoilers use the shakearator leg.

I remember years ago using one with no wearing metal (foot and shin) on it and that was very low disturbance did zero lifting though. Try it if you have one; everyone’s soil/conditions will be different and where it will work for some it won’t for others

Take the shin off will move less ,
agricast ld leg foot ,or Twb 12 mm leg and similar foot works well ,and keep speed down

This was part of my thinking that the mcconnel might be lowish disturbance as I think the Erth leg is a shakearator leg or very similar

Yes, a sister company I suppose. The Mzuri Rehab subsoiler is still available as well, always looked good to me but little need for one here. The izona is wider, no hydraulic break back, but looks well made.

Ryetec have started doing a range of low disturbance subsoilers, think they have been developed by an ex sumo designer

We built this one in 2013 but now just use the same type of leg ( Quivogne) in a cousins folding V Form .

Ran the heva stealth through part of an old grass field in advance of direct drilling hybrid rape.

The crop is miles ahead where the LD subsoiler went.

IMHO - Sumo GLS feet, weld on leg bottoms available from Spaldings and the best feet are from APM.
