Need to put a new boiler in a rural property, what would you chose? LPG or Oil?
LPG works out £1000 less installation and engineer reckons you get more energy from gas for your money?

LPG is cheaper to install but dearer to use.
LPG suppliers have been know to be economical with the truth allegedly - unless you own your own tank, they have you by the short and curlies. You *have* to be tied to a 2 year contract and they use every excuse under the sun to increase the price 'due to market forces' - yea right!!

If you have a spare minute or two, you could do worse than read this thread which has been running since 2008, but only contains 3K messages!!

We put a woodchip burner in there 2 years ago for £3K. Tenants couldn’t be bothered to keep filling it. Left the heating off most of the time, got damp and problems ever since.

Letting agents say best get rid of it.
If the tenants were halfwits you'd have had the same problem with gas or oil.
