Lucas key switch

Seam to be getting through a fair few key switches on various old tractors and plant of late, some of the replacement switches seem crap and haven't lasted long, where is best to get them from now Lucas are no more? have had some from Vapormatic and some from local parts place in clear bags and non have lasted more than a couple of years. keys on some are tight as hell to get in and some the spring resistance when trying to turn them is a lot more than they used to be.

have you tried Durite ones?
I had a couple of low quality ones, bt thought the durite was better?

It does ring a bell but cant be sure, don't mind paying a few quid more for something that will last, cheers

Look up Durite or Wood auto.

E-Bay is worth a look and when you find a good supplier, stick with them. Cost doesn't always mean quality.

Why bother with a lucus key thes days a flattened 5 inch nail starts them
Put a push button under the dash with a flick ignition switch
