It is horses for courses. Some folk have a good social network based around the market, 50 years ago my granddad often went to market on a Tuesday and didn't go home until my nan dragged him home on a Wednesday! You and I do not need to be at war Katarina, to a small degree I envy your enjoyment of the market atmosphere, it just turns out my social networks largely lie elsewhere. When I do stay on to see stock sold it can on occasion be the market that is the lonely and depressive place for me... if I get home and get done I can then engage guilt free in the social interactions that excite me more.
War is a bit strong a term, more a differing of expressed opinion.

I give luck to the value of insurance ie 5% but I do point out that I've taken luck out of the equation and though I stand by my tups I'm not taking anything for granted and will expect a vet's report before offering any comeback. I'm not having a chancer get my tup's genes, my luck, a refund and the cull value.
I've been generalised in this thread as stupid and in another as 'thick as pig shite', there are a lot of rather forthright folk on this forum. I don't wish death on them, I'd be content to know they had the galloping wild shites whilst stuck in traffic and sneezing madly with hayfever.
