I do my own and have done 2 new tractors and two new vehicle's. There is a service list in the manual told the dealer's I will be doing the servicing they know I am good for the job, they said fine use genuine filters and my own oil to the right spec and record it in service book.
Changing oil and filters is easy and can save you a lot of money just get the dealer to do the big jobs and that will keep them on side.

Just watch when you do a auto box or any thigh with a torque converter you don't overfill find the right amount of oil on a in the manual for it and run it up through the gears before checking the dip stick

Piece of mind thats all
even tho ive sourced an EU branded Filter for a rather expensive one on my 7499's hydraulic tank now thank goodness at less than half the OEM price
i dont paying a little more for so called genuine ones but some are raking it in on these items to our downfall

mF USE DONALDSON FILTERS, OPS CAPS,

last time i got service stuff for my 6465 tier 2 all the hydraulic filters supplied by LARGO were Donaldson, the ones i removed were donaldson just with agco stamped on aswell!

Im sure you can specify with them you would like Donaldson only.

engine is perkins so get genuine ones off ACE direct from perkins (he has perkins account) and there super reasonable.

Best laugh is i got some filters for a mini tractor (mf 1210) from local JD dealer who supply sparex stuff and some of them filters were Donaldson too!

733-115. From farmstar. Old part number 942244. been given an updated number 959987

Thats an Add blue filter, and its actually £99.49 rrp from manitou.

To me it looks the same as a JCB one i fitted a few weeks ago, genuine JCB is £70odd, i bought a Hifi version to try on the manitou

Looking for quality filters at a competitive price, delivered Nationwide. Give Filtermania Limited in Stafford a call! Even if you are happy with your current supplier it's handy to know a back up if availability is short! Baldwin, Donaldson, Mann, Wix to name a few brands stocked.

If you do it yourself it doesn't need to be done in a mad rush. Drop the engine oil out one night when it's hot. Fill next morning and new filter. Might do fuel filters next night, hydrualic another night..... they are all done within a few days if we are busy. Greasing is done constantly so doesn't even need to be part of the "service"
