Ruminant flatulence and climate change? Both perhaps rather negative connotations… But what happens when we start to think about ‘methane’ being a help, rather than a hindrance? And it’s exactly this notion that has led New Holland to develop its T6.180 Methane Power tractor – powered by biomethane – an eco-friendly alternative to conventional fossil-fuel natural gas. Unlike the methane that comes out of the backend of a cow, biomethane is a naturally occurring biogas, which is also a by-product of anaerobic digestion.
