Any site I was on we sprayed a sealer on the day after it was poured we waited 21 days before we shotblasted the floors and sealed them with an epoxy resin................................................You'll need to give the new concrete at least 2 months to dry properly or it'll just peel off in a year
I know what u mean Traw about more bays and less concrete. The shed steel, timber and sheeting inc erection costs were just half the cost of the project, doors lights walls floor and ancillary work inc wash bay made up the rest. As regards Crevisbigx u have some fine machines and I think I would definitely want a concrete floor there!! Are there different paints, epoxy or water or oil based?
Thera a lot to be said for a hardcore floor for a machinery storage shed, infact I can’t see the point in paying the extra for a concrete floor unless you intend to use it for something else. Indeed, on the basis that a shed is never big enough I think I’d rather spend the money on some extra bays than a concrete floor.
Well a concrete bit for the workshop makes sense but he said machinary shedI wouldn’t entertain a machinery shed without a concrete floor, easy to keep clean, dust free if sealed, no damp, can use a trolley jack, body boards, split a tractor easily the list goes on.
Not easy entertaining sheds, they get bored easily.I wouldn’t entertain a machinery shed without a concrete floor, easy to keep clean, dust free if sealed, no damp, can use a trolley jack, body boards, split a tractor easily the list goes on.
