I’ve got a Ifor Williams tipper and it’s time to change it . I’ve ordered a new one and when I get delivery date I start to advise mine on a few sites .
I’ve had a quick look on line and similar ones to mine aren’t that far off what I’m paying for a new one .

I was looking for a replacement IWT last year, following advice from on here I bought brand new at a few hundred less than most 2nd hand ones I'd seen.
Someone said it was because you had to wait for new ones, I waited 3 days and that was only because the staff were all out at the Anglesey show.

Last time I ordered new stuff from IW, delivery was '' 4-6''weeks , eventually arrived 12 weeks later.
Our dealership has a yard full of used stuff but very little new

There is no doubt as an investment its hard to beat IW products. However, it may just be me, but I think the quality has gone down hill last few years, the product does not seem to be as well made. Towed a new flat bed recently with sides and the continued rattling from the suspension and sides was annoying to say the least. Trailer also needed a spanner to tighten the side pillars, and the whole thing just felt a little flimsy to be honest.

They were saying they’re not as good as they used to be 20 plus years ago, they’re still the biggest seller by far though and certainly good for resale.
Not so sure about the good investment though, my Graham Edwards seems to be lasting better than previous Ifors.
