Mag drill

Rotabroach stuff - very good quality, they have two lines on the market atm while stockists are phasing out the older line of models (Panther etc) to make way for the new line up (element 40-100 etc)

There is nothing wrong with the older ones, only significant difference to my mind is that the newer ones have internal wiring - less prone to get damaged, but if you're careful and only using it once in a blue moon, it will last forever.

They do a "commando 40" which is a rebadged Panther and it's a thoroughly decent bit of kit.

I have a classic Meddings pillar drill which only get used occasionally - could I replace it with a mag drill? Would it be able to do pretty much the same jobs?
