maggot oil

I have a ram with maggots in its rear hoof ive applied maggot oil and it seems to be working but is there any way I can make my own or can I add something to water it down so it will go further any help or advice would be great

I use a reasonably strong dilution of dettol to sluice the maggots out, and found it works. It saves having to use something stronger at close quarter to a wound and to myself.

Once they've all been picked out ( :wtf: :sick: ), slather on Battle's Summer Ointment (or similar), and monitor until healed as you would normally.
