Very carefully Clip her tight in the area, if she has any wool or a bit of.
Then for those maggots that are left after clipping apply crovect to the area carefully (only to where the maggots are )

Then After shortwhile or when the maggots ( even the small ones ) are dead...make up some salt solution with warm water and wash the area .washing the crovect off the raw area along with all the remaining maggots.
Keep her in out of the sun , with fresh water and some of last years nice hay .

Check the next morning.

When she has healed or to thd rest of her that wasnt affected apply some crovect or similar to prevent further strike.

Maggot oil is soothing but won't kill maggots.

Natural Turpentine Oil is very effective, but I think that any product containing it for fly strike was withdrawn at least 25 years ago.
Why I don't know. Turps substitute is much cheaper, but I have no idea if it is effective or safe, so obviously anyone trying turpentine must obtain the genuine natural oil.

The trees that turpentine was derived from became endangered, afaik. Turps - the real stuff - was widely used in animal medicines.

Please, nobody use a turps substitute on a living thing!
