Can anyone recommend a good Magneto specialist? The really good company in Instow has closed and I need a Wico 2 cyl mag for a Cat D4 pony motor overhauled. I would rather take it and collect it than risk carriers, so down south preferred. Thanks.

Regular advertiser in Classic and Vintage Commercials. Personally I've no idea if they are any good, but they've had the ad in the mag for 10 years or more.
3 years guarantee and all parts can be re-made.

I took it up to Donald Day at Wroughton, 6 weeks turn around. I was keen to meet him as he was a hero of mine in the days when he raced his ERA. He had a really bad crash and lost an arm, repaired the car and went back racing with one arm. There is nothing quite like an ERA at full chat to make a sublime noise.
