Magnum wheel colour

We have a 2012 Case Magnum and the wheel paint is peeling. I would like to repaint the rims and wondered what colour the rims are. I have spoken to my dealer who can supply Case Silver paint but have found paint from the dealers to be poorer quality and would rather a car refinish paint as it is un-thinned and lasts a lot better. Does anyone know the "real" colour of the rims, is it the same as RAL 9006, which is white aluminium or should I just use the dealer paint and put on loads of coats and wait for them to peel?

i had a tin of 2k paint here, had a ral number on it and all, i lent it to a lad one time and i never seen it since.
the case paint can be hard to match but there be a few things to consider here imo.
firstly, paint is only colour, its whats under it that counts.
if the primer isnt rubbed down right then the colour will peel.
and secondly, if your doing all the wheels you wont notice a slight difference in the colour when they are done unless she is sitting beside an original one and even then, id say youd want to be keen.

ive got onto using Jotun paint, their jotamastic primer is savage stuff, its used for the hulls of ships so im sure it ill do my jobs.
its a 2 pack but id recommend it as a primer, or something along the same lines.

Sadly not repainting the whole wheel just tidying. I agree a lot easier when repainting the whole wheel. All preparation work is good just let down by the poor paint I feel. I am looking for the right colour so it will match.

Find a paint supplier that has a camera they can match it then.
The paint peels dues to being badly keyed to the primer, you might not be able to feather edge your original paint enough, to hide your repair hopefully not but worth a try.

i dont do much spraying but an odd time ive sprayed neat thinners on the original paint id be spraying up to, it kind of softens the old paint so the new paint will key to it better and after that some wet n dry to blend it in, seems to work good, or so far at least.
