The only other thing I noticed is that seedbed looks a bit cloddy. Another pass with the power harrow would get better soil to seed contact, especially important in a dry time.

Cambridge rolls would have sorted it as well if its dry.

Some of mine has snapped off during the wind sty the weekend, and the rest of it has lost a foot in height as it's all leaning over.

Had a theory spraying with fluroxypyr was something to do with it, a client of mine also believed it was varietal.

The maize under plastic has stood up to the wind better than the conventional. A few plants snapped off and the leaves showing signs of wind damage.
