Maize field loader/elevator

Anyone any suggestions or know of any items for sale that could be used at the field gate to tip a loaded trailer into that would be able to reach/transfer into another trailer on lane or roadside? Object is to keep dirty wheels in the field and keep clean wheels clean. Only for farmer use so no big expensive self propelled loader type suggestions please. Tia

Simple shallow cleated belt conveyor i guess but just like twice as wide or wider to cope with the volume
hydraulic drive or its own engine.

The machine you are looking for appears at 1.20. I'm not sure who makes it though.

Thanks, that's exactly the idea I'm looking for, now just need suggestions how to get/make something similar at a fraction of the price. A narrower belt with less output would be fine if there was something available from the potato buisness or similar second hand that would work with chopped maize

Why not look at under sowing your crops with grass ? You could even get paid to do it . It won’t stop all the mud but will reduce it a lot .

You can get trailers which tip at the back and have an elevator floor. We once foraged into wagons if that is what your thinking of. The stuff didn’t come out on it’s own as the tailgates don’t swing up out of the way. Otherwise telehandler is only way I think, sacrifice some maize as a pad.

Thanks for all replies, all very interesting. I'm talking about something for use on 30 - 50 acres of my own maize so it needs to be cheap and cheerful that can be unloaded into with my conventional silage trailers. Of course if it's dry it won't be used at all so hence my reluctance to invest very much at all. Bin lorry conversion looks great only without the expense of the bin lorry below it. Agriimarks elevator looks a grand job. A smaller version would do well with a hopper to tip a trailer into. Have the beaters been removed from the spreader just to use the floor chains or do you beat it out? Why do you use a spreader in the field?

For 50 acres? Hire a sweeper for the day.
