what pre ems are a lot of you using?

Have just seen a rec for Templar, most micro and stay put what would your thoughts be on that?

Be interesting to see if your thoughts are the same as mine!!

Conventional maize to be drilled in may no particular weed issues

Never done pre ems unless huge grass weed pressure. Callisto + Millagro (Samson) post em isn't cheap but it nails everything & keeps it clean all season.

Last season for Templar.
The terb in it works well on cranesbill pre-em IME. Can be used pre em just for the terb btw. Obvs the bromoxynil is superfluous to efficacy in this situation.

dont normally do maize except for one tight customer who wont pay another local contractor who charges more for lower acreages as my wheel settings dont meet row size and too wide so flatten one row but everyone round here seems to be using PDM this year pre em so got lots to do

Pdm here I used to worry about it being too dry for a pre email. Then one year when it was very dusty and a couple of spray misses proved to me how effective it can be. Also I am a little cautious about using just su products.
