I am sure many on here have had problems with this. There is a push to get the law changed on this sparked by more high profile cases such as travellers breaking into Thwaites brewery. Here £100,000 of damage caused while police look on claiming its a civil matter.
Had it ourselves with fields broken into and land occupied and have to take law into our own hands as police will do nothing.
If you feel its ok for someone to enter your property, occupy for weeks and leave you with a bill of thousands of pounds to clear up then ignore this. If not please please sign this and share to friends etc.
Other countries have changed the law on this, notably Ireland back in 2002. Well over due for a change here to.

Written an email to Daily Mail about this. They are quite good at running campaigns over this sort of thing. They did quite widespread coverage over the Thwaites incident so they may be willing to do a follow on article. Any one else wants to have a rant about this topic feel free.
This is the email I found on their website for story tip offs.
