Making a cooking / camping area in the back of my landy

Hi guys
Me and son yesterday made a start on making a camping storage / cooking area in the rear of my 2a 88" landy ( roof tent fitted ) we have made it with a battery compartment to house x2 100amp leasure batteries with a lift up lid for easy access and will also house the spare wheel which will slide in and out when needed, will post more pic's as we go along

Did some more last night made and fitted the headboard but was to late to take pic's so will post some tomorrow

Here you go, the tape is there to seal the joints as everything is being carpeted over and roof insulated

Made and fitted the n/s wall panel tonight then worked out where the invertes is going, will post pic's tomoz

Just took the landy out since boarding out the back, still got the o/s wall to do yet but its a lot quieter now inside and with the headboard being there the heater is a lot warmer great for driving through the night to Cornwall

No i don't like the spare being on the back door, swing away or bonnet.

Just finished fitting the o/s wall, fitting and wiring up the split charge system and fitting and connecting up the inverter inc trying it out with my garage vacuum cleaner and it works great, just need to tidy up a few cables, secure the battery although i mite need a second battery as i don't think 100 amps is enough

Yesterday whilst i was at work son decided to dig the fridge / coolerbox out of the shed and place it in the back of the landy plugged it into the inverter and left it on for 5 hrs and it was nice and cool and was only pulling 0.2 amps which i thought was pretty good

Hopeing to get it all done for the Billing 4x4 show in June and can't wait
